What to Bring: A Stone, pictures or items symbolizing you and significant women in your life, both here and already across the veil, a candle to light, and a drum or any musical instrument for chanting—not required, only if it would serve your personal experience.

The theme for these gatherings is taken from the book, Circle of Stones: Woman’s Journey to Herself, by Judith Duerk. Neither having the book, nor reading the book is necessary to attend. Vicky will have the book that day, and we will read small passages of it with each other. Here is the link for those interested in the book: BOOK

If you have a reading meaningful to you—a poem or a passage from a book, bring it.

The first hour sets our circle and our atmosphere with personal sharing, women’s wisdom readings and chanting. For the theme of our second hour we’re offering two questions for discussion rounds:

What you were taught vs. your experience of being a woman?

What you were taught vs. your experience of what it means to be a man?
