Richard Mekdeci is currently touring the world to spread the message; “Let everybody know, God is and all is well!”
As the president of emPower Music and Arts which produces the yearly Posi Awards, and the popular PosiPalooza Concerts, Richard is at the center of a new and budding industry for “Posi” music.
Richard’s experience as speaker, singer and award winning songwriter spans a wide range, from being Music and Creative Arts Coordinator for Unity Village Retreats, to over 20 years of writing, producing and performing in Nashville Tennessee. He served for 12 years as Minister of Music at First Church Unity in Nashville and has produced or co-produced twelve albums of New Thought music including five of his own.
As a Licensed Unity Teacher, Richard appears at Unity and New Thought Churches and Conferences all over the US, speaking, presenting workshops, concerts and special music for services and events.
His musical experience also spans a large range of genres from performing with the Florida Symphony Orchestra as a trumpet player, to touring 40 states with country music singer Bonnie Nelson.
He most recently served at Unity Worldwide Ministries as Sacred Music Resources Coordinator for nearly 10 years where he published the monthly Sound Connections e newsletter, coordinated production of new songbooks and still produces the yearly Sound Connections Music Conference.
